Underpinned and bolstered by a solid Biblical framework, LDI develops believers for a life of service across people groups, cultures, and geographical boundaries.
Our Continuing Education Program
We are passionate about training believers to be effective in cross-cultural church planting. Our vision is that cross-cultural workers (at home or abroad) be competent, relevant and faithful. LDI prepares and coaches pre-field and veteran cross-cultural missionaries and volunteers. We do this through a superior training program and on-going mentorship. Refined over years of use, the training material is regularly augmented for a rapidly changing world.
From the introduction through the last lesson, we bring you on an intentional path of learning and discovery. We have a step by step approach to train you which includes both the foundations of ministry as well as the personal dynamics of team ministry.
Our sessions are designed to “hit the nail on the head”. From visas and culture shock, to church planting and family stress, we seek to minister to you in a fresh and relevant way.

Our Statement of Faith
We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
We believe all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and that the Bible provides a complete and sufficient revelation of His will for salvation and conduct.
We believe in the Great Commission; to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth. Amen.
LDI is the commonly used abbreviation. The first letter is for Life, reminding us that learning is holistic for all areas of our journey, not just an intellectual exercise. D is for Development, representing our organization’s goal to help believers grow from faith to faith, from victory to victory. I is for International- the scope of our partnerships and alumni.
